This was the second wedding I got to shoot this year on my own, and it was a blast. A lot of great people to be around, LOTS of great style, and lots of good fun. The biggest thing about this wedding was the style… from the Rat Pack inspired suits to the brides vintage style dress and birdcage veil, this one oozed style… old school with a mix of rock and roll? Why not! I had a blast and I think I got some really cute photos too to last them a long time of memories.

Yay! My first out of state wedding! That means something, right?

I have to admit, this is one of those weddings that while trying to pick the photos for the blog, I couldn’t help laughing. It was not only nice to shoot for a friend, but everyone had so much energy and had such a great time… it made for some awesome photos and hilarious images. And at the same time made a lot of ones that almost get a tear to your eye to see the look in both of their faces as they see each other, as they kiss and as they spend such an incredible day together. I had a lot of fun shooting these… and I hope you guys like looking through them. I think what I love the most is that while it may seem like a very conventional wedding… as you can see from the photos, it was anything but. :)

Reception: John Ascuga’s Nugget Chapel, Reno
Ceremony: The Silver Legacy, Reno
Handmade Bouquets and other odds and ends: Middy Maddy Creations , Livermore

Talk about a blast… it’s almost exhausting looking at them all! Thanks again Scott and Riz!

I’ve known this bride and groom for a while now, and when I was privileged to shoot when Justin surprised Sharon with a ring on Baker Beach in San Francisco, I know theses two were going to make a seriously great couple, and have a amazing wedding. And I was right. Starting off at LA LA LA’s in Livermore as Sharon got ready, we shot at the local St. Michael’s church for the ceremony before heading to the beautiful Martinelli center for the reception and party. They had a lot of great details to make the wedding very unique and a blast to shoot with a great family and lots of fun folks…

…and yeah, the two kegs sure helped a lot too.

Hope you enjoyed these as much as I did shooting them!

This was a very fun and neat wedding to shoot. Not only was the groom a good friend of mine, but a few of my good friends were there, which made it all a very laid back, comfortable wedding to shoot. The Rivermill in French Camp, California was a very beautiful place to shoot… something you wouldn’t expect in a usually bland farming area. But it was very nice… from the amazing gardens to the early 1900′s farming building with old iron and brick, it made for some very nice shots! I think everyone had a awesome time!

Midnight Mass 2011…

August 1, 2011

Did some coverage of the show in Sacramento, California… the Poor Boys 2011 Midnight Mass car show. Had a great time… and shot a few pics…

Had a great time this year! Kind of a weird place they had it this year…. it was really in the boondocks out there, but I still had a killer time and wow, it’s getting big! They had to start turning folks away as early as 9 as they were over on spectators! Lots of awesome cars… lots of cool folks to talk too vendors, music… gotta say, The Poor Boys put on a fun ass show!

First time trying to cover an event… hope you guys like them. And hope you don’t have a dial-up… lol.

Thanks for looking!

Once again, had a really great time… and thanks for the reply’s so far.. I was really happy with how these all came out! I was dog tired… but I was still able to work the clutch and get the wagon home. :)

GAH!

March 1, 2011

I need to poast moar. Finally been getting back into things. Expect some new photos in the galleries soon, and more posting on here. I’m the worst blogger ever.

Damn!

December 29, 2010

I’m the worst blogger in the world. And what’s amazing is while I get three hits a month on this site, I’m now getting 70 fake comments a month as well. I don’t know how the hell that happened, but it really sucks.

Anyway, the sites been updated with new art… go look!

Finally rolling again…

July 29, 2010

Sorry for the lack of updates for folks that actually are checking out the blog. As you know getting anything started sometimes can be a pain, so it’s been a long time and work to get everything together. Business cards, the website, marketing and getting my name out, and of course, getting some more content! I’ll be posting a few weddings soon as I’m so behind, so for now I’ll pop a photo from a maternity shot I did today. I’ll try and update at least a few times a week, even if it’s a photo or two. :)

Justin’s Bike….

May 31, 2010

While I’ve been a big car guy for a while now, it’s only recently I’ve had a few friends with bikes and are really into them as much as my car buddies. I can’t say I know to much about them… other then being loud and I’m sure fun as hell, I can’t tell them apart like I can my classics.

Anyway, I shot a few of these for my friend Justin of his Triumph, and thought I’d share them… thought they came out kinda cool!

Kelly and Carson…

May 31, 2010

Finally another post! Been so busy with shooting I’m not able to show folks it all! Here’s Kelly and Carson’s wedding, shoot in Dublin at the Dublin Heritage Center and happening to happen in just perfect weather at that. Both of them were a joy to work with, and even though the groom wasn’t much for photos I got him to smile and get some cute ones with his beautiful bride! Very cool traditional wedding in a historic old church, then dancin’ and drinking at the Crooked Wine winery in Livermore.

Congratulations!
